Developed by the legendary Sid Meier, F-15 Strike Eagle has been described as a “mega hit” and a “blockbuster.” It was named Computer Gaming World’s “Action Game of the Year” in 1985. Much like Sid Meier’s earlier Command Series titles, the gameplay is based on real life missions flown by F-15 fighter pilots in the Middle East and Asia in the 1970s and 80s. Meier collaborated with Air Force pilot John W. “Bill” Stealy to ensure the game’s accuracy. F-15 Strike Eagle marries authentic combat simulation with arcade action for an incredibly satisfying experience. Using your arsenal of missiles, bombs, and cannons to take out a variety of ground targets, if you can survive air-to-air combat from enemy fighters.
